City Council meets the First (1st) and Third (3rd) Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
Join Virtually on GoToMeeting or in person at the Edgewater Civic Center.

To make a Public Comment at the City Council Meetings please review the process and register with the City Clerk a minimum of 6 hours prior to the City Council Meeting by filling out the Registration Request Form.

Fall Alley Pick Up

Saturday, October 14th- Before 7:00am!

Items for pick-up must be out by 7:00am where your normal trash pickup is located. 

  • Please bag or bundle all materials. Maximum of one (1) large item furniture piece allowed.
  • Do not pack bags or bundles more than fifty (50) pounds.
  • Please cut all long pieces of material to lengths no longer than four (4) feet.
  • Make sure items are from the below list of accepted items.
    • Items not accepted will be left. No Electronics, Concrete, Dirt, Chemicals, Fertilizers, Paints, Hazardous waste, any Appliance with Freon, Lawn Mowers, Needles, Syringes, Tires, Batteries, Vehicle Fluids, Windshield glass

Fall Drop Off Day

Saturday, October 28th, 9:00am to 1:00pm

Jefferson High School - North Lot

Sticks to Chips

Drop-off your tree branches, sticks and logs between 9am and 1pm to be chipped. After the drop off event, chipped mulch will be available for pick up in the same location, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Sticks, branches, and logs up to 15 inches in diameter can be chipped (no nails, metal or wire allowed). While the mulch pickup is free, those interested will need to bring your own shovels, containers and tarps as they will not be provided. 

Accepted & Not Accepted Items for Clean Up Day

  • Organics Roll Off
    • Accepted: Grass Clippings, leaves, branches, logs, stumps, paper leaf bags (NO PLASTIC) 
    • Not Accepted: Plastics, Food
  • Landscape & Yard Materials
    • Accepted: Limbs, yard clippings, leaves, wood mulch
    • Not Accepted: Concrete, dirt, large stumps, fertilizers, chemicals, rocks
  • Construction Items
    • Accepted: Wood, drywall, windows, doors, decking, carpet, flooring
    • Not Accepted: Concrete, bricks, paints/stains, chemicals
  • Household Items
    • Accepted: Household trash, furniture, linens, clothes
    • Not Accepted: Hazardous or bio-hazardous waste, needles, syringes, hot tubs, batteries
  • Automotive
    • Accepted: Bumpers, auto body panels, seats upholstery
    • Not Accepted: Tires, vehicle batteries, vehicle fluids, motor oil plastic bottles, windshield glass
  • Metal Materials
    • Accepted: Metal flashing, metal furniture, household metals
    • Not Accepted: Refrigerators, freezers, A/C units, any appliances with freon, lawn mowers
