The City Manager oversees various projects of the City Government, to ensure efficient, quality services are delivered to the community, and facilitates the flow of information from staff to City Council. The City Manager is appointed by the City Council as Chief Administrative Officer of the City, and is ultimately responsible for the enforcement of local laws, and the assurance of sound fiscal and operational practices of the City.

Dan Maples was appointed City Manager by City Council in September 2019. He has a Master's in Finance and Risk Management from the University of Colorado - Denver.
